Hair Day: A Community Based Braiding Project

Curator- in- Residence for Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, Courtney Brooks, presents, Hair Day: A Community Based Braiding Project that focuses on sisterhood and the history of black hair care practices. During this workshop, guests are invited to help create 15-18 ft long braids made out of chunky yarn for an art installation that will be activated on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail in March 2020.
