Atlanta BeltLine Etiquette Campaign
Join us to make the Atlanta BeltLine a friendlier place for everyone!
The Atlanta BeltLine is helping to build a culture of connectivity and alternative transportation in the City of Atlanta. The first 2-mile multi-use trail to be built in the old railroad corridor, the Eastside Trail, received more than 1.3 million visitors in 2015. As such, the busy trail is often full of pedestrians, cyclists, joggers, dog-walkers, and people engaged in a variety of activities. The Etiquette Campaign strives to familiarize trail users with the rules of common courtesy on the trail by way of a fun, family-friendly campaign.
This event has passed.
We will gather for a workshop where the volunteers will be introduced to the etiquette campaign. Attendance at this workshop will qualify the volunteers for future etiquette campaign. The event will end with a short campaign session on the trail, where volunteers will engage with trail users, holding etiquette signs and talking about the etiquette message. All interactions should be good-natured; we are not policing the trail, we are only informing the folks that use it!
