Atlanta BeltLine Awareness Day: July 2019

Are you concerned with safety and etiquette on the Atlanta BeltLine? We are seeking volunteers to join us on the Eastside Trail as we host our second Awareness Day along with the City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Police Department! Volunteers will wear #BeltLineCharm t-shirts and hold etiquette signs with fun, simple reminders encouraging positive behavior on the trail. The event will take place from 12-2 p.m. where the Eastside Trail crosses Lake Avenue / Irwin Street. Look for us at the pop-up tent.
Representatives and staff will be present to answer questions and provide information on the strategies underway to increase safety and decrease reckless actions along the multi-use trails. The Awareness Day is a component of #BeltLineCharm, an etiquette campaign that is a playful take on southern hospitality, emphasizing courtesy towards others.
Anyone who is interested in safety and etiquette on the Atlanta BeltLine in encouraged to attend. Media is also encouraged to attend. Please register to volunteer. This will be one of several Awareness Days, so please stay tuned for future dates.
