ABP Health Lecture Series: Strength Training IS for You!

Make plans to join us on Thursday, March 25 at 12:15 p.m. for the second 30-minute installment in our new Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Health Lecture Series. We’re putting this series of free virtual lectures together with our health and fitness partners at Georgia State University (GSU). We look forward to covering a diverse range of health and fitness-related topics for you over the coming weeks.

Next up: “Strength Training IS for You – Why It’s Vital and How to Optimize the Approach That’s Right for You”. Our guest lecturer will be Pete Rohleder, Clinical Instructor and Program Coordinator for the Undergraduate Exercise Science Program at GSU. Pete is also the host of the “More to Movement” podcast, where he discusses the science behind movement and provides solutions to help his listeners properly apply the science to enhance training outcomes and improve movement discrepancies that hinder success. Pete holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science from Wichita State University and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA) since 2011.
