The Marketing and Communications Manager will oversee and execute day-to-day marketing and communications efforts that support the Atlanta Beltline Partnership’s fundraising, programs, and public engagement goals. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution and is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented marketer who is comfortable managing email, social media, and digital content while partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a visual eye, a solid grasp of digital platforms, and experience using data and insights to improve outreach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, create, and manage content across ABP’s digital channels, including email marketing and social media platforms
Design and produce marketing assets using Canva or a similar design platform, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
Build, send, and optimize email campaigns using Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform, including list management and audience segmentation
Manage ABP’s social media presence, including content calendars, publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking
Collaborate with internal teams to support program marketing, fundraising campaigns, events, and partnerships
Support CRM-based marketing efforts, including working with Salesforce data for targeting, reporting, and campaign coordination
Create regular reporting on marketing performance to share insights and inform strategy
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Experience managing email and social media campaigns from planning through execution
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
Technical Qualifications
Proficiency in Canva or a similar design platform for creating digital and print marketing materials
Hands-on experience with Mailchimp or a comparable email marketing platform
Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms and publishing tools
Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM, particularly for list management, reporting, or marketing support
Experience using Asana or a similar project management tool is a plus
Additional Skills:
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret basic analytics and use insights to improve performance
Collaborative, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Passion for community-centered work and the mission of the Atlanta Beltline Partnership
Compensation
Annual salary of $65,000, with employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, free parking, and the option to contribute to a 401(k) plan.
We offer a collaborative, fast-paced, hybrid work environment. We have an open office with other amazing non-profit organizations in the 970 Jefferson building, located directly on the Westside Beltline Connector Trail.
