When the temperature drops (or even when it doesn’t), there’s nothing better than gathering around a firepit with great food and drinks. Thankfully, the Beltline is packed with spots that combine outdoor dining, cozy flames, and prime people-watching.

Whether you’re on a family outing, date night, or brewery crawl, these corridor-adjacent restaurants and bars bring the heat—literally.

Eastside Trail

Nine Mile Station: Perched on Ponce City Market’s rooftop, Nine Mile Station offers skyline views, elevated pub fare, and fire features that make cooler nights unforgettable. It’s a must-stop for Beltline goers craving fine dining with a view.

Staplehouse: This Michelin-starred restaurant manages to be both refined and relaxed. Staplehouse’s approachable vibe makes it surprisingly family-friendly, and its outdoor seating provides a warm, welcoming spot to enjoy thoughtfully crafted dishes.

Two Urban Licks: With its expansive patio, outdoor bar, and firepits, Two Urban Licks is built for lingering. Add live music and bold flavors, and you’ve got one of the coziest stops on the Eastside Trail.

New Realm: Beer, bites, and firepits—New Realm nails the trifecta. Their spacious outdoor areas make it ideal for groups, and the fire features keep things pleasant well into the evening, often accompanied by live music.

Northeast Trail

Grana: This rooftop Italian spot brings a touch of sophistication to fireside dining. Grana’s flames pair beautifully with craft cocktails and Italian-inspired bites, all while offering sweeping views.

Northwest Trail

Monday Night Brewing – The Grove: If you want a laid-back, backyard feel, this is it. With firepits, open green space, a large screen, and plenty of seating, The Grove feels like a neighborhood hangout—just with excellent beer.

Marcel: This steakhouse in the Westside Provisions District delivers extra elegance with a patio featuring a large stone fireplace. It’s a classy, yet comfortable option for a special night out.

Southeast Trail

Breaker Breaker: This coastal dive bar on the Southeast Trail offers non-stop people watching around crackling, cozy fires inside repurposed Goodyear tires.

Three Taverns Imaginarium: Tucked near The Eastern, this brewery offers plenty of outdoor seating, a couple of firepits, and even hammocks. It’s casual, creative, and perfect for warming up.

Southside Trail

Red’s Beer Garden: A neighborhood favorite, Red’s combines outdoor vibes, heaters, and an impressive food and drink list. You can even reserve a firepit for free by emailing red@redsbeergarden.com at least two days in advance.

Side Saddle: Unique and inviting no matter the season, this patio has already become a Boulevard Heights gem. While there’s a firepit every night, visit on Thursdays for live jazz—and check out their social media for other exciting events.

Southwest Trail

Monday Night Brewing – The Garage: This industrial-chic location brings the same energy as its sibling spot, with plenty of outdoor space to gather, sip, and feel some heat.

Westside Beltline Connector Trail

Westside Motor Lounge: Part bar, part backyard, part social club—Westside Motor Lounge is made for fireside hangs. The courtyard beyond the beer garden features shuffleboard courts, cabanas and picnic tables, firepits and Adirondack chairs, as well as a serving station and stage made from old shipping containers.

From rooftops to brewery backyards and stone fireplaces, these spots prove that outdoor dining in Atlanta shines brightest when there’s a little fire involved. So grab a jacket, hit the trail, and pull up a chair by the flames.
