Whether you’ve been to the Beltline 1,000 times or you’re getting ready to visit the corridor for the first time, there’s something special about experiencing the magic of the Beltline (and Atlanta) from above.

Thankfully, there’s no shortage of rooftop spots along the loop to provide you with picturesque views and even better memories. Some of our go-to spots include:

Moonlight (Eastside Trail)
Located on the roof of the FORTH Hotel just off the Eastside Trail, Moonlight is a ’70s-inspired cocktail lounge that’s perfect for a nice night out on the town with friends. In addition to inventive drinks, Moonlight also offers an upscale food menu that covers everything from truffle grilled cheeses to caviar potato chips. Reservations are recommended.

Palo Santo (Northwest Trail)
Overlooking a future Beltline stretch is Palo Santo, an upscale, Mexican-inspired restaurant and rooftop that’s taken the Westside by storm. While the full menu isn’t available on the roof, visitors can still enjoy some of their award-winning bites, including shareable dips, nori tacos, and select sushi rolls. Before visiting, we recommend checking out the spot’s dress code and then making a reservation.

New Realm Brewing Company (Eastside Trail)*
A favorite along the Eastside Trail since 2018, New Realm Brewing Company’s rooftop offers unmatched views of the city and one of the busiest parts of the corridor (making it perfect for people watching). In addition to house-made beer and spirits, New Realm boasts an extensive food menu, regular trivia and vintage market pop-ups, and live music four days a week.

Florida Man (Southeast Trail)*
Breaker Breaker’s Gulf Coast-inspired rooftop offers incredible views of the Southeast Trail, along with frozen and house cocktails, local brews, and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The second story also offers an extensive food menu, including the seafood dishes that have made Breaker Breaker a staple along the corridor. Unlike the main level, Florida Man is only open on Fridays from 5:00-10:00 p.m. and on Saturdays/Sundays from 11:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m., so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.

The Rooftop at Hotel Clermont (Eastside Trail)
Not only was this rooftop named the best in the city by Atlanta Magazine in 2024, but this historic spot also underwent a full renovation to make things even more magical. In addition to incredible skyline views, visitors can expect fun seasonal cocktails, an in-house taco truck, frequent live entertainment, and more.

Grana (Northeast Trail)
In the mood for a side of Italian food with your rooftop views? Grana has you covered! This spot, located not far off the Northeast Trail, has a Southern Italian menu that is sure to have you ordering one of everything. The popular patio is also home to a unique weekend brunch featuring upscale meatball grinders, chicken parm sandwiches, and shrimp and polenta.

9 Mile Station (Eastside Trail)
Home to Atlanta’s largest outdoor rooftop patio, 9 Mile Station is the perfect spot to visit after a day spent exploring the Eastside Trail. Located atop Ponce City Market, it has special menus for brunch, dinner, and late-night bites. After you dine, be sure to head across the roof to Skyline Park, where you can enjoy putt-putt, carnival games, and more. Reservations for 9 Mile Station are required.

Drawbar (Northwest Trail)
As West Midtown continues to grow, Drawbar at the Bellyard Hotel is the perfect place to take in the skyline’s newest additions. Located just off the future Northwest Trail, this elevated bar and lounge offers craft cocktails and a full menu that includes everything from wings and sliders to crab nachos and shrimp po’boys. Have a large group? Not a problem. Just call ahead and place a reservation (walk-ins are recommended for small groups).

Indaco (Eastside Trail)*
This Eastside Trail Italian restaurant boasts a stunning turfed patio that overlooks one of the busiest segments of the corridor. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite and bev at their grab-and-go Indaco Cafe, or staying to delight in a handcrafted pasta and cocktail, chances are you’ll love this elevated casual spot. If you’re dining in for dinner, reservations are recommended but not required.

Mrs. P’s (Eastside Trail)
If you're looking for Eastside Trail views in a more intimate setting, look no further than Mrs. P’s second-floor terrace atop the Wylie Hotel. Originally opened as a basement bar in 1956, Mrs. P’s is now above ground and offering local favorites for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner. The spot also boasts fun weekly specials, including Manhattan Mondays, Two for Tuesdays, and Rewind Wednesdays.
