Did you know there are over 6,000 businesses registered within a half mile of the Atlanta Beltline corridor?
As we continue to develop the trail, more and more entrepreneurs are choosing to call the Beltline home. Whether you’re looking for a spot to grab lunch or the perfect place to find a last-minute gift, here are some of the places that have opened around the Beltline in the past few months.
Eastside Trail
Dips Kitchen: Krog Street Market’s newest tenant serves made-from-scratch dips ranging from chicken salad to artichoke and burrata.
Handel’s Ice Cream: The ice cream chain once named National Geographic Magazine’s #1 spot on the planet opened a new location off Monroe Drive in Midtown. It's their second store inside the Perimeter.
La Metro: Ponce City Market guests have a new spot to try thanks to El Super Pan’s Chef Hector Santiago. This Spanish tapas bar touts a variety of food and beverage offerings at its sit-down location on the first floor.
Northeast Trail
Madre Selva: Atlanta’s first Ceviche Bar has officially opened. This Lindbergh spot boasts bold Latin flavors with a Peruvian flair.
Southwest Trail
Ryokou: Michelin star-winning Chef Leonard Yu has brought his talents to Adair Park with this Japanese restaurant. Perfect for a special night out, the restaurant features a tasting menu of eight courses.
Sauce Queen Kitchen & Pantry: This new neighborhood lunch counter offers fresh-made meals, take-homes, and more. It also hosts monthly foodie experiences, tastings, and workshops designed to bring the community together over food.
Scraplet: Atlanta’s favorite art supply thrift store has opened a new location inside CreateATL. The new location is open Friday-Sunday and will also host a variety of craft workshops.
Southeast Trail
Small Fry: A team of local chefs and restaurateurs have come together to bring fried handhelds to Reynoldstown. The fast-casual fried-food spot specializes in dinner and late-night items with an Italian slant.
Mellow Mushroom: The Atlanta-based pizza chain opened a new prototype location at The Boulevard at Grant Park. The spot features Mellow Mushroom’s classic items, alongside new favorites, a rebranded design, and counter-service ordering.
Mikkelson’s Market: The owners of Cabbagetown’s JenChan’s opened this new Danish-inspired market. Be sure to stop by for grab-and-go prepared foods and made-to-order items.
Westside Trail
Bankhead Seafood: After a long-awaited return, Killer Mike and T.I. have officially brought back Bankhead Seafood. This historic family-owned and operated restaurant served the Atlanta community for more than 50 years before closing and finally reopening late last year.
Echo Room: Found at Westside Motor Lounge, the Echo Room is Atlanta’s newest all-vinyl lounge. The space is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and features a slate of programming.
Lucky Star: This new Taiwanese cafe and cocktail bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Star Metals. The team behind Lucky Star is well-known for their Michelin-starred spot Brush, as well as Momonoki and Momo Cafe.
