NOVEMBER 20, 2025

Earlier this fall, the Atlanta Beltline celebrated the kick-off of our Historic and Cultural Resources Study, a project aiming to bring together existing pieces of historic and cultural research to develop guidelines and tools that can be used as the corridor continues to develop.

As part of the project, we’ll be hosting two open houses, where Atlantans can share their thoughts, engage with the subject matter experts leading the project, and help shape the study's final report.

Those looking to engage in person are invited to join us on Saturday, December 6, at the Oakland Cemetery Bell Tower between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Held in conjunction with Oakland’s Holiday Spirit Festival, the open house will feature several interactive stations, along with complimentary light refreshments. Community members can stop by anytime during the 3-hour window to share their thoughts on how to celebrate historic and cultural resources along the Beltline, how to demonstrate value for resource preservation, and how the Beltline should prioritize next steps. More details on the event can be found here

Can’t make it to our in-person open house but still want to participate? A virtual open house will open on December 8 and run through December 14. Once live, a link to the open house can be found at Beltline.org/meetings
