We are nearing the finish line of our updated Strategic Implementation Plan, which will guide us to the completion of the Atlanta BeltLine by the end of 2030, and we need your input!

From now through July 24, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. is collecting public comment on the final draft of the updated BeltLine Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP). This comprehensive strategic work plan provides an overarching execution strategy for the full BeltLine program, including trails, transit preparedness, parks, affordable housing, economic development, public art, historic preservation, and more. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. hired Cincar Consulting Group, LLC (C2G) to update the original 2013 plan with consistent consideration to equity and community benefits.

The 2013 Strategic Implementation Plan established prioritization criteria based on project readiness, equity in development and development impact, consistency with City goals, and available financial options. It also projected funding that would be available through the BeltLine Tax Allocation District and outlined how the infrastructure could be constructed over three time periods.

The 2023 plan update focuses on updating the strategies, priorities, and funding to complete the suite of BeltLine projects and programs. It will refine remaining projects, their timing, sequencing, and economic scenarios, with consistent consideration to equity and community benefits, and provide a roadmap to completion by the end of 2030.

After three rounds of community engagement sessions, the next step is to obtain feedback from the public on the final draft of the Strategic Implementation Plan. The plan will be open for public comment through Monday, July 24, 2023.
