Fall is one of the best times to explore Atlanta, and the Beltline is at the center of the city's festivities. From glowing lanterns to neighborhood celebrations, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the cooler weather while discovering the communities along and around the corridor.

Shaky Knees Music Festival  

September 18–20 | Piedmont Park – Northeast Trail 

Kick off fall with three days of live music at Shaky Knees Festival. Set in Piedmont Park, the festival brings a packed lineup of rock, indie, and alternative artists together for a weekend of music, food, and fun just steps from the Atlanta Beltline’s Northeast and Eastside Trails. 

Forward, Warrior!!

September 18–20 | Cabbagetown – Southeast Trail 

Experience Atlanta’s vibrant street art scene at Forward, Warrior!!, an annual live mural painting festival in Cabbagetown. Watch artists transform the historic neighborhood with 80 murals along Wylie Street, plus a new Friday night projection-mapping experience, a poetry program, and walking tours all weekend.

Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade 

Saturday, September 19 | Southwest Trail 

Light up the trail at our annual Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade! Led by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, the beloved tradition brings thousands of glowing lanterns, colorful costumes, live music, and community spirit to the Southwest Trail. Craft, bring your own lantern, and join the parade, or find a spot along the route to watch the magic unfold. 

Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival

Saturday, September 19 | Lang-Carson Park – Southeast Trail 

Hosted by the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League, the Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival features food and drink vendors and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the neighborhood while supporting the local community. 

Sunday in the Park ft. Tunes from the Tombs at Oakland Cemetery  

Sunday, September 27 | Oakland Cemetery – Southeast Trail 

Spend a fall afternoon at Oakland Cemetery’s 48th annual Sunday in the Park. The event combines live music, family-friendly activities, history, and the unique atmosphere of one of Atlanta’s most treasured landmarks.  

Gluten Freedom Fest

Sunday, September 27 | Monday Night Garage – Southwest Trail 

For a festival centered around good food and good times, head to Monday Night Garage for Gluten Freedom Fest. The celebration brings together gluten-free food, drinks, vendors, and live music at the brewery's location in the Lee + White development.  

Porches & Pies

Saturday, October 3 | Adair Park I – Southwest Trail 

Stop by Adair Park for Porches and Pies, a beloved neighborhood tradition celebrating all things pie, with homemade creations, music, local vendors, and community pride. The Atlanta Indie Market will also pop up at the Beltline Marketplace at Allene, bringing together small businesses, family-friendly activities, and a hay maze for the kids.

Atlanta Pride  

Saturday–Sunday, October 10–11 | Piedmont Park – Northeast Trail 

Celebrate love, community, and LGBTQ+ visibility at Atlanta Pride in Piedmont Park. One of Atlanta’s largest annual celebrations, Atlanta Pride brings together entertainment, community organizations, vendors, and thousands of visitors for a weekend of celebration.  

Little Five Points Halloween Festival & Parade

Saturday–Sunday, October 17–18 | Eastside Trail

Get into the Halloween spirit at the Little Five Points Halloween Festival & Parade, one of Atlanta’s biggest spooky-season traditions. The two-day celebration features more than 100 art vendors, live music, entertainment, and the famously creative Halloween parade on Sunday. 

Dia De Los Muertos at Oakland Cemetery

Sunday, November 1 | Oakland Cemetery – Southeast Trail 

Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Oakland Cemetery. Hosted by the Consulate General of Mexico and the Institute of Mexican Culture, experience an afternoon honoring the traditions, culture, and loved ones remembered during this special holiday. Through music, art, food, dance, and rituals, the event brings the community together in the historic cemetery. 

Chomp & Stomp 

Saturday, November 7 | Cabbagetown – Southeast Trail 

The annual Cabbagetown Chomp & Stomp Festival brings together more than 100 chili entries, a 5K run, an artist market, live bluegrass and roots music, and plenty of neighborhood fun—all while raising funds for the community.  

Westside Stride  

Sunday, November 8 | Howell Mill Road – Northwest Trail  

Westside Stride brings the community together for a day of movement, fun, and connection along Atlanta’s Westside Trail. Whether you’re walking, running, or simply enjoying the neighborhood, it’s a great way to explore the Westside community.
