Far beyond Southern staples, Beltline restaurants create a delicious cross-country journey without ever leaving Atlanta. From New York bagels to Gulf Coast seafood and California burritos, the corridor brings together flavors from all over the nation.

Here’s how you can eat your way across America, one Beltline stop at a time.

Northeast Trail

  • Little Rey: A Tex-Mex blockbuster known for its wood-roasted al carbon (charcoal-grilled) chicken, Little Rey’s menu features tacos, breakfast items, salads, and fresh margaritas in a casual, vibrant setting. Visit their sister restaurant, Superica, on the Eastside Trail for full-service dining.

  • Lewis BBQ: Located in Ansley Mall, this restaurant blends the flavors of Southern and Central Texas, with brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, turkey, and Lewis’ famous “Texas hot guts” sausage. The casual, counter-style service makes it easy to order your meat and sides before taking a seat indoors or outdoors to soak up the vibes of the Lone Star State.

Northside Trail

  • Black Bear Tavern: This Chicago-inspired neighborhood tavern brings Midwestern energy and flavor to South Buckhead. Enjoy an Italian Beef Sandwich, Polish sausage, Chicago dog and so much more while watching a game or match at one of Atlanta’s oldest sports bars.

Eastside Trail

  • Motorboat: Just down the Ponce de Leon ramp, Motorboat combines a water-sports–themed dive bar with a casual New York–style deli serving sandwiches like Reubens, Muffalettas, and Italian beef. The menu is rounded out with tropical cocktails and craft beer.

  • Mason's Super Dogs: Stop by the Atlanta Beltline Marketplace at Freedom Parkway for Mason's take on an American favorite. Savor beef and vegan hot dogs loaded with inventive toppings, coleslaw and baked beans, and assorted snow cones.

  • Fred’s Meat & Bread: The Krog Street Market gem didn’t make the Michelin guide for nothing! Some even say their cheesesteak beats some of Philadelphia's, but you’ll have to taste to decide for yourself.

  • Bell Street Burritos: This trailside spot serves up California mission-style burritos stuffed with ingredients and named after local neighborhoods. Swing by on weekend mornings for breakfast burritos and jalapeño cheese grits.

  • Emerald City Bagels: Craving a bacon egg & cheese? Emerald City serves New York hand-rolled bagels, monthly cream cheeses, and creative drinks like the Xocolatl Chocolate Covered Strawberry latte.

Southeast Trail

  • Breaker Breaker: This unique stop channels the feel of a casual Gulf Coast seafood shack, serving fresh fish, shrimp, and fried platters in a breezy setting. Head to their upstairs bar, Floridaman, for even more fun coastal cocktails and atmosphere.

  • Homegrown: No tour would be complete without Southern comfort food. Homegrown serves hearty all-day breakfasts, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, and locally sourced favorites in a cozy retro diner setting.

  • Emmy Squared: Pizza lovers, this one’s for you! Step just off the Southeast Trail for thick, crispy-edged Detroit-style square pies, salads, drinks, and patio views.

Southside Trail

  • Jase’s Lemonade: Reminisce on the flavors of summertime with an iconic American childhood tradition. Founder Jase turned a simple lemonade stand into a brick-and-mortar shop at Terminal South, serving 20 varieties of his favorite drink alongside gourmet grilled cheeses.

Southwest Trail

  • Everythang NOLA Cafe: A New Orleans native who evacuated Hurricane Katrina, Keisha Marie Mackie brings her city’s classics like snowballs, crawfish and King Cakes to Atlanta’s Capitol View neighborhood.

  • The Original Hot Dog Factory: This stall inside the Lee + White food hall features varied hot dogs from around the country like the Chicago Dog, Carolina Slaw Dog, and LA Dog, plus deep-fried desserts.

Northwest Trail

  • The Optimist: Known for fresh oysters and beautifully prepared seafood, this upscale spot in West Midtown delivers the feel of a classic Northeastern fish house.

  • Hattie B’s: Visit this fast casual chain for Nashville hot chicken at six levels of heat, ranging from mild to “burn notice.” Enjoy your choice with sides or dessert, including pimento mac and cheese and banana pudding.

  • Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours: Before you leave, soul food is a must-have. Twisted Soul delivers Michelin Guide–recommended, award-winning Southern cuisine, featuring standout dishes like fried green tomatoes, catfish Ballantine, and spiced rum peach cobbler.

Whether you’re craving a taste of home or looking to try a new regional favorite, the Beltline offers a large selection of snacks, meals, and sweet treats from coast to coast and everywhere in between.
