Celebrating the 4th Annual Big Tigger’s Beltline BikeFest
Atlanta Beltline and the Big Tigger Foundation hosted another amazing year of Big Tigger’s Beltline BikeFest on May 2, 2026

The 4th annual Big Tigger’s Beltline BikeFest rolled into Lee + White along the Southwest Beltline trail on May 2nd delivering a full day of fun and community. Created by Big Tigger in partnership with the Atlanta Beltline, the family-friendly festival brought together neighbors of all ages to celebrate movement, wellness, and connection.
Despite a last-minute location adjustment due to weather forecasts, the day turned out picture-perfect, with clear skies and sunshine throughout. More than 300 bikes and helmets, supplied by Huffy, were given away to kids across the community, including students from Atlanta Public Schools, and local cycling groups including Atlanta Pedaling, Running Nerds, Red Bike & Green, and Dope Pedalers. Beltline Ambassadors were on-site leading bike lessons, helping kids build confidence and ride safely on their new bikes.

The event also featured free health checks from Morehouse School of Medicine, swag giveaways from the Atlanta Hawks, and an e-bike raffle that sent two lucky adults home with brand-new rides. Performances from Universal Soul Circus and Heiress Diana Harris, daughter of Atlanta legend T.I., kept the crowd engaged. Mayor Andre Dickens; Councilmember Jason Dozier of District 4; Board Member Shivy Brooks, Seat 7-At Large; and Atlanta Life Insurance Company gave remarks during the festival and joined in to celebrate the moment.

While the adult ride was canceled due to weather concerns, celebrity bike captains still showed up and brought great energy to the day. Captains included AJ Terrell of the Atlanta Falcons, Eva Marcille and Toccara Jones of America’s Next Top Model, Julian Horton of Beauty in Black, Lil Scrappy of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and Devale & Khadeen Ellis of Sistas and Divorced Sistas.

This year’s event was made possible by Big Tigger Foundation, Atlanta Beltline, Atlanta Life, and Lee + White. Silver sponsors included Amerigroup, V-103, Delta Community Credit Union, Sprite, and Smart Water. Community partners included Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Atlanta Hawks, Huffy, ATL Bicycle Repair, Dope Pedalers, Bonafide Riders, Red, Bike & Green, Pedal Pushers, and Goodr.
