Join Art on the Atlanta Beltline as we celebrate Atlanta’s cultural connection with Lagos, Nigeria!

Mark your calendars for April 27 for the LagosAtlanta: Sister City Rising unveiling. This free event will take place at the Holderness/Ashview access point on the Westside Trail (near Ashview Community Gardens) from 10:00 –11:00 a.m.

The program’s guest artists-in-residence Taiye Idahor and Kainebi Osahenye will reveal the public art pieces they’ve created during the 10-week residency, both of which were inspired by trips around Atlanta and the Beltline’s Westside Trail.

In addition to being among the first to see the pieces, attendees will also have the chance to hear from Idahor and Osahenye, along with program creator and curator Lauren Tate Baeza, about the residency program and the vision behind the exhibition. Artists will also stay for a brief Q&A session with community members.
