JULY 24, 2024

Atlanta Beltline, Inc. (ABI) is hosting a Meet & Greet event series to encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to work on upcoming projects for the city’s largest redevelopment project, specifically on the design and construction of trails. The sessions will give tips, solicitation pointers, and insights on upcoming procurement opportunities.

The Beltline is looking for a variety of construction contractors and engineering firms to build the trail and to tell the story of the project that is connecting Atlanta together. DBE representatives will learn about how to do business with ABI and our team members will be there to answer questions.

This outreach effort is part of the Beltline’s mission to build a more equitable and inclusive future that reimagines how people work, live, play, and thrive in Atlanta. With a recently passed $172 million budget for fiscal year 2025, ABI is seeking diverse business partners as it accelerates construction and continues to work toward completion of the 22-mile, multi-use trail by 2030 with support from its partners.

As one of the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs in the United States, the Atlanta Beltline is the catalyst for making Atlanta a global beacon for equitable, inclusive, and sustainable city life. ABI has always solicited and encouraged participation by qualified DBE and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) consultants and contractors to share upcoming opportunities to help us complete the remaining work by the end of 2030.

Are you a company interested in partnering with ABI? Join us for this event focused on engaging with engineering primes, engineering consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors. Check out the dates below and register today!
