To get where you’re going, you’ve got to know where you’re at. And when it comes to the completion of the Atlanta Beltline project, the roadmap for the last ten years has been the 2013 Strategic Implementation Plan. It is a comprehensive strategic work plan which provides an overarching execution strategy for the infrastructure, itself, as well as other programmatic elements of the Atlanta Beltline, including trails, transit preparedness, parks, affordable housing, economic development, public art, historic preservation, and more. A lot has changed since 2013, and the time has come to update this roadmap that will guide the completion of the Atlanta Beltline by the end of 2030.
We want to hear from the community as we gear up to make these updates. On March 4, Atlanta Beltline, Inc. will host an open house to provide a summary of what has been accomplished to date. The team will also share next steps in the process for updating the plan. Come with your questions and even your kids. Light snacks will be provided. Beltline staff look forward to having conversations with you about the future of the Atlanta Beltline.
