As the Beltline moves through its busiest construction period yet, Atlanta Beltline, Inc. (ABI) is hosting a Meet & Greet event series to connect Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) with upcoming projects for the city’s largest redevelopment project. Focused on future trail construction, attendees can anticipate tips, solicitation pointers, and insights on upcoming procurement opportunities.
With construction activity ramping up across many trail segments, building toward the completion of the 22-mile loop by 2030, the Beltline is looking for construction contractors to build the trail and tell the story of the project that is connecting Atlanta together. Many of the construction projects planned for 2026 are designed to be more accessible for smaller firms looking to grow and take on larger projects.
Participants will also be able to go on a site walk along the Atlanta Beltline Northwest Trail, giving attendees an opportunity to see an active project and learn more about the bidding process. Representatives from ABI will be available to answer questions and provide resources for doing business with the organization.
This outreach effort is part of the Beltline’s continued mission to build a more equitable and inclusive future that reimagines how people work, live, play, and thrive in Atlanta. ABI is seeking diverse business partners as it accelerates construction and continues to work towards the completion of a variety of trail and park projects around the corridor.
As one of the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs in the United States, the Atlanta Beltline is the catalyst for making Atlanta a global beacon for equitable, inclusive, and sustainable city life. The Beltline has always solicited and encouraged participation by qualified DBE and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) consultants and contractors to share upcoming opportunities to help us complete the Beltline’s remaining work.
Join us for this event series focused on engaging with engineering primes, engineering consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors who are working to bring the Beltline vision to life. Check out the details below and register today!
