George F. Baker III’s mural at Carver Market/Community Grounds in South Atlanta not only increases visibility of the market, but also depicts how the market is tackling food insecurities within the community.

Applications for the next round of our Façade Improvement pARTnership Grant program are officially open! The application period will run through Monday, June 10, 2024. The full online application can be found here.

Launched in 2019, the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) Business Façade pARTnership Grant partners local artists and maker professionals with the local business community to complete capital improvements to the façade of a business site. In collaboration with Purpose Possible, the grant facilitation partner is dedicated to empowering mission-driven organizations in overcoming the obstacles hindering their mission realization.

The program is designed to catalyze preservation and enhancement of commercial districts within the Beltline Planning Area (BPA) while showcasing a business’ proximity to the Atlanta BeltLine. This attracts new tenants, investments, and customers to the district, but also provides work opportunities for Atlanta’s vibrant artist and maker community.

Businesses located within the BeltLine Planning Area (check your business location here) are encouraged to submit applications outlining their vision and goals for their façade improvements. Grant amounts will vary depending on the cost to implement the design with up to $50,000 per site.*

We’ll be hosting a virtual information session along with Purpose Possible, on May 13 at 1:00 p.m., and applications close on June 10. For more information on the program and to view past projects, please visit our website.

Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your business and feature the incredible work of local artists! Read more about how the grant increases visibility for local businesses in Atlanta, here.

*A 5% match (not to exceed $2,000) will be required by the business participant prior to the implementation of the façade improvement and will be nonrefundable.
