Atlanta has long been at the heart of hip-hop, with its unique sound and style shaping and reinventing the genre. On October 13th, join us as this rich legacy takes center stage at ATL Park Jam, transforming Adair Park II into a vibrant celebration of the city's hip-hop heritage. Presented by Atlanta Beltline Art and curated by local event production company RAPPORT, this free, day-long festival returns for its second year.
From noon to 7 p.m., ATL Park Jam will feature a mix of returning favorites and new additions that celebrate Atlanta's hip-hop past, present, and future. RAPPORT event creator and curator Alex Acosta describes the event as embodying the true spirit of hip-hop culture – “creating joyful and uplifting experiences using dance, music and art for the community”.
Music will take center stage with legendary Atlanta DJs doing live sets throughout the day and ATL Collective presenting renditions of Atlanta classics. For those who want to get moving, the open skate session returns, accompanied by a high-energy DJ soundtrack. Skate enthusiasts can also look forward to a demo by the Sick on Skates Crew.
Other activities include:
Food trucks
Local vendor market
Sponsored brand activations
Free fitness programming, including Trap Yoga
Kid-friendly activities by The Happy Black Parent
ATL Park Jam promises to be a celebration of Atlanta's lasting impact on hip-hop culture and a showcase of the city's creative spirit. So grab your picnic blankets, chairs, and loved ones, and join us for this unforgettable day at Adair Park II. Let's come together to honor the artists and legends who have put Atlanta on the map and continue to shape its hip-hop scene.
