The Atlanta Beltline isn't just a connection to one of the city's largest rock 'n' roll events, Shaky Knees Music Festival. There are numerous venues, restaurants, and bars around the trail hosting shows of every genre from local, national, and international artists.
Here's where you can enjoy live music almost every day of the week, whether you're looking for a ticketed show or something you can enjoy while grabbing a drink or a bite.
District Atlanta: Looking for a high-energy night out? Inside an industrial-modern converted warehouse space just off the Northeast Trail, District is an electronic dance music (EDM) nightclub and event venue that often attracts well-known artists.
Smith’s Olde Bar: A longtime Atlanta staple that has hosted artists like John Mayer, David Bowie, Kings of Leon, and Janelle Monáe, Smith’s is known for its intimate atmosphere and eclectic lineup. Expect a mix of rock, alternative, indie, country singer-songwriters, and more.
Red Light Café: An intimate listening room for music lovers who like a little variety, the lineup at Red Light Café ranges from Americana, bluegrass, country, and folk to blues, traditional jazz, roots rock, funk, and soul.

La Cueva: For another more close-knit experience, relax at La Cueva inside Ponce City Market for Latin-inspired sounds. It's an easy spot to sip on a drink and enjoy music as part of the night out.
City Winery Atlanta: At City Winery Atlanta, the schedule is just as diverse as the wine list. The venue hosts rock, R&B, soul, jazz, folk, Americana, pop, and more, with national touring artists, established favorites, and emerging performers taking the stage throughout the year.
Burle's Bar: Head to Burle's Bar in Old Fourth Ward on Tuesday evenings for live jazz music in a laid-back setting. Can’t make it? Visit Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal on Wednesdays or Breaker Breaker for jazz brunch on Sundays.
Aisle 5: Fitting for Atlanta’s quirky Little 5 Points neighborhood, Aisle 5 hosts indie rock, hip-hop, electronic, and other touring acts.
The James Room: In the Krog District, the James Room’s carefully curated music programming brings pop, hip-hop, R&B, reggaeton and soul into the hidden cocktail lounge—creating a soundtrack that's just as much a part of the vibe as the drinks and ambience.
