The mission of Tiny Doors ATL is to bring big wonder to tiny spaces. Tiny Doors ATL offers the Beltline an opportunity to explore the big impact of small scale public art. Over the last year, Tiny Doors ATL has installed 6 small doors around the city. The scale of our six inch doors have inspired Atlantans to explore their city, hunting for each door and posting pictures of their finds to social media. Our most popular doors are on or around the Beltline, suggesting a natural partnership between our two organizations. We’d like to bring urban explorers to your paths!
Tiny Doors ATL | 2022

Tiny Doors ATL has been bringing big wonder to public spaces in Atlanta through joyful and interactive art since 2014. The project is the work of artist Karen Anderson Singer, who describes the mission of her work as “creating a tiny canvas for the public’s imagination through accessible art which respects its unique surroundings.” In the 2022-23 season, six original Tiny Doors ATL installations were re-imagined along the Atlanta Beltline Trail.
While creating an installation for the Westside Trail, Tiny Doors ATL met with students at KIPP STRIVE and KIPP WAYS Academies to hear what young local residents had to say. Many students suggested music and art as an inspiration. Their guidance is evident through this new installation, which features artistic representations of the West End neighborhood created by KIPP STRIVE students, displayed inside a classic boombox.
