The ConNectar

Kaylin Broussard & Chris Bartlett |

The ConNectar is a 3-ton sculpture that stretches 40 feet across the trail, featuring five oversized pollinators commonly found in our urban ecosystem made of corten steel and colorful acrylic. The artwork, which casts shadows of primary colors onto the Southwest Trail when the sun is bright, invites viewers to appreciate the crucial role of pollinators in the ecosystem by magnifying their presence.

This is the second large art installation gifted to the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum from Trees Atlanta through public donations and grants for environmental education.
