Jennifer Mason then pursued her passion on several different avenues from a soloist with The Universal Circus, to more contemporary work with Dance Iquail (NY) and Surfscape Contemporary Dance Theater (FL). She performed with Urban Ballet Theater (NY), as well as Ballethnic Dance Company (GA). Recently, Jennifer has been selected as a 2016-2017 National Visiting Teaching Fellow with The School of American Ballet , the official school of New York City Ballet. She continues to pursue answers for dance education in her community while promoting structure, discipline, and the change of ones approach to their work, but her greatest joy is her steady work on broadening the platform in which dance, ballet, in specific, is presented on, in order to be more inclusive, relatable, and enjoyable to patrons and community members! Regine Metayer graduated from FSU and relocated to New York City to study at Ballet Hispanico. She danced with the Dance Continuum as a contemporary ballet soloist and performed with the Almano Ballet at the Mohegan Sun. She also performed with Ballet NY in its 2004 season. In august 2005, she joined the Brooklyn Ballet Company for three seasons and also performed with ASEID in its 2007 season at the Dicapo Theatre. In 2008 She joined the Ballethnic Dance Company in East point, Georgia where she was a member for 7 seasons. In 2010 she started performing with World ballet as a principal dancer under the direction of Henry Hernandez and Dr Elizabeth Delancy in Tallahassee, Florida. She also joined City Gate Dance Theater in 2012 as a soloist. Ms Metayer is the Artistic Director of Metayer Conservatory for the Arts and Metayer Dance Theatre. Apart from her performance career, she is a certified Pilates/fitness instructor and personal trainer. She also teaches and choreographs in and out of the country for different studios and dance companies.

The City Gate Dance Theater Summer Movement Series is a refreshing contemporary concert series created and directed by Executive / Artistic Director, Jennifer Davis that accentuates the beauty, athleticism, and grace of the dancers tool, thoughtfully paired with music that blends the two into one artistic experience. This piece was performed as part of Beltline After Dark + Music in the Park on October 18, 2019, in the greenspace in Ashview Heights and adjacent to the Westside Trail.
