Regrowing Atlanta
Jenevieve Reid | 2019
Georgia Asters, Purple Coneflowers, Monkey Face Orchids, Sun Loving Drabas and Bay Star vines are among some of the flowering plants that once graced the landscape of Atlanta. These species have become rarities earning the title “Endangered” due to the import of invasive species like Kudzu, Mimosas, Cogongrass etc. Regrowing Atlanta seeks to remind the viewer to be a good steward to nature and to our fellow humans. As we expand and develop as a city let’s continue to expand and grow as an interconnected community.
