Music in the Park is a direct response to the community in need of an alternative learning experience for students at a time when funding for arts in Georgia public schools are rapidly declining! Music in the Park creates musical exposure for students and the community where it is not accessible.

The collaboration has produced a theatrical evolution of music from its earliest forms of tribal rhythms to the latest in electronic. As one form of music gives way to another, it is often a source of conflict that results in a new iteration of the former music that contains elements of the old while giving way to something new. Technology plays a major role in these changes but so do shifts societal thought.
