Gnomon III, Progeny is a pair of sculptures designed to explore light and shadow pattern generation. They are based on a series of photographs that turn building facades into geometric patterns. The artist has been working with the photo series for twelve years, and the photos, as well as the sculptures, reflect his interest in Euclidian geometry, fractals, and the ways natural light is constantly changing.
