Showcase Your Art Along the Beltline

Through sculptures, murals, performances, and other experiences, we strive to enrich and reflect the communities we serve across Atlanta.

Who's Eligible?

To be considered eligible for Atlanta Beltline Art calls, respondents must:

  • Be a resident of the City of Atlanta, or, if registered as a business entity, be headquartered in the City of Atlanta.

  • Have a project lead(s) that is 21 years of age or older.

  • Provide all information requested in the RFQ package and address each of the specific evaluation criteria.

  • Have successfully completed any previously funded Atlanta Beltline contracts (if applicable).

2026 Call Details

Temporary Art Installations & Public Art Acquisitions

We're looking for artists and organizations to submit proposals for the following opportunities:

Temporary Art Installations: Artists are invited to temporarily display original works and arts/cultural installations along the Beltline. These can include sculptures, light-based works, murals, photography installations, and more. All artworks must be completed and ready for installation.

Public Art Acquisitions: Artists, galleries, and organizations are invited to have their artworks acquired, purchased, and owned by the Atlanta Beltline for long-term outdoor exhibition. All pieces should be finished, original, and owned by the applicant. Eligible pieces include sculptures and other three-dimensional works that can be installed along the corridor, are durable, and are conducive to long-term exhibition.

The submission deadline for both opportunities is Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Public Exhibitions & Signature Events

Do you have an idea for a public exhibition or a one-of-a-kind event that could take place along the corridor during the 2026-2027 Atlanta Beltline Art season?

We're looking for proposals for artistic and cultural activities, exhibitions, festivals, and more that creatively activate the Beltline corridor and engage the public, while also fostering a sense of place and creating a sense of belonging and pride.

All proposed activities must take place between June 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027, and should include an element of community engagement.

The submission deadline is Monday, March 9, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Virginia Avenue Bridge Mural

Visual and public artists are invited to submit their proposals for a large-scale mural to be installed at the Virginia Avenue Bridge on the Eastside Trail.

Proposals must reflect the spirit and culture of Atlanta and create a visual landmark for residents and visitors to the city.

The artwork should cover three distinct surface areas underneath the bridge, totaling approximately 2,900 square feet.

The submission deadline for this opportunity is Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. EST.
