Salt Line is a temporary seating structure consisting of 150 fifty-pound salt licks meant to signify the transitional state of the Reynoldstown section of the Atlanta BeltLine as it prepares to undergo construction commencing at the end of 2014.  Drawing from the leftover rail lines in the area as well as the graphic lines of the dirt trail, Salt Line serves as a natural timepiece signaling the final transition of the site through the deterioration of the material.
