    Atlanta Beltline Open House for Strategic Implementation Plan

    WHAT: Atlanta Beltline, Inc. is holding a series of open house listening sessions for the public to provide feedback on the programmatic elements of the Beltline, which will inform the update of the Strategic Implementation Plan.

    WHEN: This public, family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    SCHEDULE:

    10 a.m. – Open House Session I
    11 a.m. – Formal Presentation
    12 p.m. – Open House Session II
    1 p.m. – Formal Presentation

    WHERE: The two open houses will be held in person at The Garden Club at Wild Heaven, located in Lee + White at 1010 White Street, SW, 30310. Please consider using public transit, walking, or biking. The location is ¾-mile from the West End MARTA station and ½-mile from the #68/#81 bus stop on Lawton Street.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The open houses are public. Everyone who would like to give feedback on the roadmap to completing the Atlanta Beltline is encouraged to attend. There are two sessions – the content will be the same.

    ABOUT THE MEETING: Atlanta Beltline, Inc. is updating the Strategic Implementation Plan, which is the roadmap to completing the Atlanta Beltline by 2030. The open houses are designed to provide a summary of what has been accomplished to date, share next steps in the process, and allow the public to provide feedback, which can inform the plan. Light snacks will be provided throughout the day with kids’ activities available.

    Individual stations will be staffed with details around trails, transit preparedness, parks, affordable housing, economic development, public art, historic preservation, and more.

    Three additional Study Groups will be held virtually on March 3, March 7, and March 9, offering additional opportunities for feedback. All past and scheduled future meetings and supporting documents can be found online at www.beltline.org/meetings.
