What:  Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail. This is the first segment of the multi-use Southside Trail to be completed.

When:  Tuesday, October 12, 2021

Remarks: 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
Ribbon-cutting: 10:15 a.m.
Tours and interviews: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Pittsburgh Yards, 352 University Avenue SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.

To ensure the safety of attendees, masks are strongly encouraged, and hand sanitizer will be available. There will be a limited number of spaced-out chairs in front of the covered stage, and standing guests are encouraged to socially distance as possible.

The Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail Segment 1 is a 0.8-mile section of mainline, multi-use trail and the first to build on the Westside Trail. It is another step closer to connecting the Eastside and Westside Trails and completing the 22-mile loop. It connects four open and emerging job centers – Pittsburgh Yards, Murphy Crossing, the Met, and Lee + White.
