WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Northside Study Group meeting on the collaboration between ABI and PATH Foundation to deliver the Northwest Trail Planning Study.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on Monday, May 24 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom and broadcast to www.facebook.com/atlantabeltline. Details for joining this meeting online, as well as all past presentations and Facebook Live recordings, can be accessed at www.beltline.org/meetings. Attendees can also join by phone by dialing 929-205-6099 and entering webinar ID 842 3703 8743.

Questions should be submitted by Friday, May 21 at noon to meeting.engage@atlbeltline.org. As many questions as possible will be answered during the meeting on Zoom and Facebook Live, but submitting questions ahead of time is the best way to ensure questions are addressed.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Community members in the Northside Study Group, which includes residents of Ardmore, Atlantic Station, Berkeley Park, Blandtown, Brookwood, Brookwood Hills, Channing Valley, Collier Hills, Collier Hills North, Colonial Homes, Garden Hills, Georgia Tech, Hills Park, Home Park, Lindbergh/Morosgo, Lindridge/Martin Manor, Loring Heights, Marietta Street Artery, Peachtree Battle Alliance, Peachtree Heights East, Peachtree Hills, Underwood Hills

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The 4.4-mile Northwest Trail will run from Huff Road on the westside to the Northeast Trail at Peachtree Creek in southern Buckhead. The development of the northwest corridor is critical to ABI’s goal of closing the 22-mile loop and building on Atlanta’s regional trail network. The trail alignment study by ABI and PATH Foundation will examine possible trail alignments, assess their feasibility, and then make a recommendation for a preferred alignment.

ABI anticipates releasing a separate Request for Qualifications this spring to commission a feasibility study for transit, to be funded by a federal grant.

Recent updates on the Northwest Trail and other Atlanta BeltLine projects are available on our website.

Meeting materials and opportunities for public feedback will be made available on the day of the meeting at beltline.org/meetings.

  1. Thank you for holding the meeting. I think I heard somebody say the Q&A answers would be posted on your website. If I heard that correctly, can you please provide a link to where you will be posting the Q&A?
