Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) would like to introduce Ash Nash, Founder and CEO of Power Haus Creative, as the Arts & Culture Community Strategist. The Arts & Culture Community Strategist was born out of the desire to support a robust pool of applicants for the 2020 season of the Art on the Atlanta BeltLine (AoAB) program. Power Haus will partner with ABI for a period of eight months. The primary focus of this partnership is to target direct engagement in Atlanta’s southeast, westside and southwest BeltLine communities and connect a broader audience to the Art on the Atlanta BeltLine program. Power Haus Creative will help communities to envision AoAB as a unifier and connector and disseminate information about AoAB through virtual BeltLine presentations, ideally at local community hubs, pop-up engagement events, and regularly scheduled neighborhood planning unit (“NPU”) and neighborhood organization meetings.

Power Haus focuses on aligning underrepresented artists with national brands, real estate developers, and private collectors. Power Haus offers project management, consultant services, community engagement and more. The artists represented by Power Haus Creative LLC include artists, muralists, illustrators, and designers including International Artist Dr. Fahamu Pecou, Fabian “Occasional Superstar” Williams, Yuzly Mathurin, Craig “Flux” Singleton, and DL Warfield among others. Broadly recognized for her impassioned work ethic, Ash has led several highly successful grassroots campaigns, including mural installations for Papa John’s and Nike. Nash gained International attention in 2019 for her strategic work coordinating #Kaeperbowl, a public art/activism initiative centered around muralist Fabian Williams and former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. As a mother of two and founding director of Power Haus Creative, Ash serves as a liaison and accountability partner to both visual artists and the brands that hire them.

She is passionate about thriving communities, leveraging cultural representation, and access for creatives. Ash is also the Creative Community & Culture Strategist for Remerge Non-Profit Community Museum in Historic Auburn Avenue, which focuses on community building and arts education workshops.

Lastly, she proudly serves as an active member of Mint Non-Profit Gallery Board of Directors. Mint Gallery (focused on turning Atlanta into an Arts tourism destination) supports underrepresented emerging artists, curators and collectors, is now located at the Met in Historic Southwest Atlanta, with 7,300 square feet and home to 4 internal galleries and 18 artists’ studios.
