Enota Park Design
More Greenspace on the West Side
Expanding on the 1/3-acre Enota Place Playlot, Enota Park will be an 8-acre park on the Atlanta BeltLine's Westside Trail. In September 2018, 50% design plan drafts were presented to the public.
In 2017, Pond Engineering was contracted to lead the design process for Enota Park, with community engagement beginning in early 2018. The expanded park will be bounded by Interstate 20 to the north, the Westside Trail to the east, Lucile Avenue to the south, and Enota Place to the west. The project is being developed through collaboration between Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. and the City of Atlanta.
Did you know?
In January of 2017, hungry goats were brought into Enota Park to clear invasive plant species such as kudzu. Trees Atlanta manages the Greet the Goats program, an adorable way to maintain various greenspaces around Atlanta.
More art coming soon
The rejuvenated Enota Park will feature an original piece of artwork from an artist with ties to the West End or Westview. The call for proposals is open now; click here to find out more.
