Creating Live-Work Communities

Partnerships That Create Opportunities

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership has worked with more than 40 local and national organizations to develop a framework for connecting Atlanta BeltLine residents with jobs along the Atlanta BeltLine.

Facilitating the ability for people to live and work near the Atlanta BeltLine will yield economic, social, and environmental benefits. In collaboration with our partners, the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership has developed a framework for an employment system that achieves these triple bottom-line benefits by:

  • Coordinating workforce development entities to create an efficient system for producing qualified employees
  • Synchronizing the workforce development network with the needs of employers
  • Simplifying the process for employers to both hire from target populations and obtain the associated financial incentives
  • Making it easier for people who want to live and work along the Atlanta BeltLine to find employment and housing opportunities

Workforce Partnerships are the foundation of this framework and are being implemented now.

We anticipate building out other components over time with our partners.

Read the entire framework by downloading the Employment Initiative Program Framework below.
