September Run.Walk.Go! Club Meetup on the Southside Trail!

Who wants to run on some newly-opened Atlanta BeltLine? We’re super excited to announce that our September Run.Walk.Go! Club meetup will take place at Eventide Brewing, just steps away from the new Southside Interim Trail! Our run club meetups – held the first Thursday of every month – usually take place on the paved  Eastside or Westside Trails. But with 4 more miles of Atlanta BeltLine now open to the public, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to share this exciting new trail segment with you. The trail’s not yet paved and doesn’t yet have lights or security cameras, but it connects the Eastside and Westside Trails and we think that’s a game-changer.

Let’s plan to meet at Eventide at 6:30 – 6:45 pm and head out for a 2- or 4-mile fun run on the new Southside Trail at 7:00 pm. As usual, our good friends from Atlanta Track Club will be on hand to lead the run. When we get back, our the friendly folks at Eventide will refresh us with $4 pints of their core beers.

Keep in mind, this run will take place on unpaved trail. They’ve done a fantastic job grading the new trail so that it’s very passable, but be advised you will be running on packed dirt, loose sand and small to medium sized gravel. Scroll down for some recent images of the trail so you can get a feel for what the running surface is like.

Thanks to Resurgens Orthopaedics for their support of our Run.Walk.Go! Club!

We hope to share the new Southside Trail with you in September!

Start:September 5, 2019 6:30 pm
End:September 5, 2019 9:00 pm
Venue: Eventide Brewing
1015 Grant St SE, Atlanta, GA, 30315, United States
