The lantern parade is a creative community collaboration. Thank you for making a lantern to walk in the parade! Your participation is what makes the magic. Please read parade details at https://art.beltline.org/lantern-parade
We are tricking out white paper parasols with colored paper, glue, and string lights. They look great twirling around in the parade! And they will collapse and fit in a back pack afterwards. All materials, light, and batteries included. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is best for kids who have mastered scissors, approximately 7 and up. Tickets are per parasol. (ie. My neighbor and I want to make one parasol together. We just need one ticket.) Tickets help fund the parade and are non-refundable. You are welcome to BYO drinks and snacks. Please do your best to be on time.
NOTE: The studio is a short walk from Midtown Arts Marta Station and parking will be validated at the Promenade deck. It is is a little tricky to find. It’s on 15th Street. Detailed directions and a photo are at www.chantellerytter.com/midtown-studio
