Lantern Workshop: BIG Globe Lanterns
BIG Globe Lantern Workshop
This lantern workshop is hosted by Chantelle Rytter and Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons for the Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade on September 9, 2017! The lantern parade kicks off the season of Art on the Atlanta BeltLine.
This event has passed.

The lantern parade is a creative community collaboration. Thank you for making a lantern to walk in the parade! Your participation is what makes the magic. Please read parade details at https://art.beltline.org/lantern-parade
Get your tickets for the BIG Globe Lantern workshop here.
We are tricking out 36” white paper globe lanterns with colored paper, glue, and lights. Three feet is a big lantern! It will take every bit of three hours to decorate it. This is a good project for 2-4 people. It would not hurt to think of your design in advance. There are just six big lanterns in this workshop. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is best for kids who have mastered scissors, approximately 7 and up. All materials, light, batteries, and carry pole are included. Tickets are per lantern. (ie. Four friends are making this together. We just need one ticket.) Tickets help fund the parade and are non-refundable. You are welcome to BYO drinks and snacks. Please do your best to be on time.
NOTE: The studio is a short walk from Midtown Arts Marta Station and parking will be validated at the Promenade deck. It is is a little tricky to find. It’s on 15th Street. Detailed directions and a photo are at www.chantellerytter.com/midtown-studio
