Belting on the BeltLine: The Barber of Seville

October 20, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am

** Notice of Cancellation **

We regret to have to cancel today’s live performance of Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” scheduled for 11:00 am at Historic Fourth Ward Park due to inclement weather. We will work with The Atlanta Opera to reschedule the performance for a future date when the weather will hopefully be more cooperative.

Perhaps one of the most famous operas of all time, THE BARBER OF SEVILLE features opera’s most famous barber, Figaro, who plays the role of translator as Rossini’s witty, sparkling score takes center stage. Perfect for the whole family, this 45-minute adaptation will be performed in Spanish and English and demonstrates the power of love to triumph over adversity of every kind.

Presented as part of the Belting on the BeltLine series, a collaboration between The Atlanta Opera and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership funded through a Collaborative Innovation Grant by The Home Depot Foundation.

FREE and open the public.
