Last week, we brought you some key updates on the Eastside Trail’s southern extension through Reynoldstown. As we said in that update, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. continues to work with the Georgia Department of Transportation on Memorial Drive improvements. With permit in hand, we expect to begin work on these improvements this coming Tuesday night (April 30). Work will take place Monday – Thursday between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., and will take approximately two weeks and involve lane closures during that time.
Plantings will continue through the trail’s opening, and handrails should be installed on the bridge above Fulton St/Mauldin Ave next week.
