Public Meeting: Southside Trail Design & Updates

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a combined Southeast & Southwest Study Group meeting to discuss Southside Trail design updates.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Southeast and Southwest Study Group areas. The Southeast Study Group includes parts of Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Edgewood, Glenwood Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights, Chosewood Park, South Atlanta, and Peoplestown. The Southwest Study Group includes residents of the Westview, West End, Adair Park, Pittsburgh, Mechanicsville, Oakland City, Bush Mountain, Capitol View, Capitol View Manor and Sylvan Hills neighborhoods along the Atlanta BeltLine.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. 

WHERE: The meeting will be held at Focused Community Strategies behind the Carver Marketplace, 1297 Jonesboro Road, Atlanta, GA 30315. This location is accessible via MARTA buses #55 and #155. Please consider biking or walking, if you are able. Free parking is available on-site and in the surrounding neighborhood.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

ABI has secured funding to complete final design for the Southside Trail, the railroad corridor connecting the Westside and Eastside Trails from University Avenue to Glenwood Drive. Please join us for updates on what to expect on this project in the coming months.
