Ericka Davis Joins Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. as Communications and Media Relations Director

ATLANTA – Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) has announced the hiring of Ericka Davis as Director of Communications and Media Relations. In this capacity, Ms. Davis will direct all aspects of ABI’s multi-channel communications strategy and manage media relations for the organization. Ms. Davis joins ABI from her most recent position as Director of Communications and Customer Service for Fulton County Government. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the public sector to this role.

“Ericka was the overwhelming choice to lead our communications team,” said Paul Morris, President and CEO of ABI. “Her extensive years of communications experience and her enthusiasm and excitement for the Atlanta BeltLine are crucial assets for this role, and we are thrilled to have her on board at ABI.”

As Director of Communications and Customer Service for Fulton County Government, Ms. Davis served as the official spokesperson for the County, managing the communications strategy for all 39 departments. Prior to that role, she also served as Director of the Communications Division for the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Director of Communications for the Georgia Building Authority, State Properties Commission, and the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission.

Ms. Davis holds a Master of Science in Technical Communications from Southern Polytechnic State University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Tennessee Temple University.
