Jobs Training Classes

A Collaboration Focused on Progress

In 2010, the Atlanta BeltLine and the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency collaborated on the implementation of a training program for local residents.

Greenworks program graduates, Center for Working Families and the Atlanta BeltLine

In 2010, the Atlanta BeltLine and the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency collaborated on the implementation of a training program for local residents. The program focuses on greenspace construction, and 100% of trainees from the inaugural class were placed in jobs in construction and other industries. Through the support of Greenworks, the second class graduated in early 2013. Additional classes are planned for the near future, and are scheduled based on the volume of construction projects and opportunities that need to be filled through program partners.
