The Atlanta BeltLine Run.Walk.Go! Series is proud to announce a partnership with the Beecher Hills Foundation in support of the third annual Beecher Hills 5K. The event, scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at 8:00 a.m., will be held on the Atlanta BeltLine Southwest Connector Trail and the Lionel Hampton Trail that connects to it. All proceeds support STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) education initiatives at Beecher Hills Elementary, an Atlanta Public School.
The 1.15-mile long Southwest Connector Spur Trail originates at the Lionel Hampton Trail and winds through a serene stretch of woods that backs up to Beecher Hills Elementary School. The Southwest Connector is phase one of what will ultimately be a 4.5-mile spur trail and an important part of the Atlanta BeltLine. This pair of trails will provide a safe, scenic route for participants in the Beecher Hills 5K.
Online registration is open to would-be runners and walkers at itsyourrace.com. The cost is $25 for adults, $10 for children under 10 years old, and only $5 for Beecher Hills Elementary students.
Companies and organizations interested in sponsorships and other ways to support the race should contact Elliott Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org.
