Transit-Oriented Development Framework for Chosewood Park

WHAT: Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) will hold a Southeast Study Group meeting to discuss the transit-oriented development (TOD) framework for Chosewood Park.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The meeting is open to all of the public but is focused on the Southeast Study Group area. The Southeast Study Group includes parts of Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Edgewood, Glenwood Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights, Chosewood Park, South Atlanta, and Peoplestown.

WHEN: The meeting will be held on November 30, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.

 WHERE: Church of Atlanta Lighthouse – Fellowship Hall (behind the main church): 1380 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. This location is accessible by MARTA Bus #49. Please see itsmarta.com for complete details. Please consider biking or walking, as there is limited on-site parking available.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The objective of the Chosewood Park TOD Framework is to analyze the best methods for accommodating future growth with sustainable and Transit-Oriented Development. In this meeting we will review the preliminary development and connectivity analysis for the Chosewood Park TOD Framework. On October 23, a public meeting was held to present the existing conditions for the neighborhood and discuss next steps. This meeting is a follow-up where the public will be presented with development and connectivity scenarios to help formulate the Chosewood Park planning framework.
