Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10k Recap

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership hosted the 5th Annual Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10kon Saturday, December 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., attracting more than 800 registrants. Starting the day’s festivities at Stoveworks on Krog Street, participants of all fitness levels ran and walked along the Eastside Trail through the Inman Park, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland and Virginia Highland neighborhoods and enjoyed scenic jaunts along the unpaved portion of the Atlanta BeltLine corridor and through Piedmont Park. The morning began with Athens-based singer-songwriter DeJoire Hall singing the National Anthem and provided fun for all ages, including a special appearance from Finn and Jake of Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time.” After the race, registrants over 21 years of age enjoyed the beautiful day in Atlanta with a complimentary beer courtesy of Terrapin Beer Co.
