Atlanta BeltLine Quarterly Briefing Will Feature Mayor Kasim Reed; Guest Panelists

WHO: The fourth Quarterly Briefing of 2015, a retrospective on the first 10 years of the project, will feature a panel discussion of experts and leaders that helped to shape the Atlanta BeltLine. The panel will include the City of Atlanta’s Mayor Kasim Reed; Ryan Gravel, on whose thesis the Atlanta BeltLine is based; Paul Morris, current President and CEO of Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.; and Mtamanika Youngblood, Board of Directors Chair for the Historic District Development Corp. Bill Nigut, Senior Executive Producer for Georgia Public Broadcasting will serve as moderator.

WHAT: The Quarterly Briefing will focus on the first 10 years of the project, as well as the project’s future. Executive Director Chuck Meadows will provide a 10 year reflection of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, their fund raising efforts and programming. The public will also receive updates on current construction projects and will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.

WHY: The Atlanta BeltLine is celebrating a decade in the making, from the formation of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership to the latest groundbreakings, grand openings, and initiatives.
