Nearly 250 adults and children attended the September Play Day on the Atlanta BeltLine at Adair Park II, hosted by Atlanta ContactPoint, together with local coaches and organizations, we will provide a free day of sports, fitness, arts, and health education. The event featured dozens of sports and activities, including hockey, skating, basketball, kickball, softball, baseball, golf, rugby, ultimate, lacrosse, flag football, DRAGON Goal, martial arts, dance, dodgeball and volleyball. The community had a blast trying out new sports and activities – as well as participating in some of their favorites.
The Play Day events continue to draw hundreds of members of the Atlanta community to try their hands out at new activities and sports. The next Play Day is scheduled for October 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Historic Ward Skate Park. The lineup includes popular favorites including rugby, volleyball, yoga, and more.
