This past weekend, our Atlanta BeltLine Run Club started the new year with a special run, south of Atlanta in Palmetto, GA. Our gracious hosts at Serenbe welcomed us to their community for a morning of trail running followed by tasty refreshments. About 60 runners showed up to experience Serenbe with horses, donkeys, goats and even pigs greeting them as they ran between three and nine miles through the community and the adjacent trails. Although it was a chilly morning, it was sunny and the atmosphere was energized with the participants enjoying a change of pace and scenery. Some runners enjoyed the in-ground trampolines after a challenging and new run as part of their cool-down! Everyone agreed that another run club at Serenbe would be fun (maybe for a warmer run) and our Serenbe hosts were more than happy to welcome us back! We will keep you posted on our next road trip run to Serenbe!
